The Corvette...

So Dave and I went to dinner at Southtowne Grill with my paremts, the Bakers and the Robinsons for Mom's birthday. Well afterwards we went to the Robinsons house for icecream, and we recently found out that Gary Robinson has a super fast corvette. I dont remember what kind. So he took Dave for a ride well on their way back he let Dave drive. Dave was like a little boy on christmas morning. LOL. So Dave was super happy and had an awesome time. Gary waited 60 years he said to get the car of his dreams, so I told Dave he will have to wait 60 years from now to get a car like that! He was kinda sad... I said when we can afford it you can have it! lol. And it will probably be 60 years from now that we can!! Anyways it was a very nice car.

Our Pumpkins

These are the pumkins we carved for Halloween that we got from the pumpkin patch. Dave carved the spooky looking one, and I carved the cute smiley faced one. It took Dave a long time to crave his, but he enjoyed it. Dave unfortunetly couldn't be at the trunk or treat where we took our pumpkins, because he had to work, but he was given several compliments on it. Dad and I went to the trunk or treat because mom was still in Utah. We had fun handing out candy... OR I should say I had fun handing out candy dad just walked around socializing. It was fun. I also cooked teh pumpkin seeds we got from the pumpkins. I over seasond them a bit so i was the only one who ate them... :) But now I know what to do for next year!

Our 2 year Anniversary!

So dave and I had our 2 year anniversary on october 14, 2008. We really didnt have any plans as we are saving money for more important things right now. A girl at my work to me about this park in Springfield. It sounded beautiful so we decided to go after we got off work. There was a cave which we didnt go in cuz you have to bring your own flashlights and we wernt about to go walking in a cave with out one. So we took this trail along the water in a forrest area. It was so pretty and relaxing. It was nice to get away from the stresses of the world. After wards Dave and I went to Olive Garden for dinner. That was nice as well. Dave and I plan on going into the cave one time. Oh and I have no idea what the name of the park was. All i know is that it started with an "S". lol. It was fun and very laidback. We both had a great time by saving money!

The Corn Maze

We rode on the corn maze express to get to the cornmaze....

We all decided to go to a Corn Maze, We just went this last weekend, mom wanted to go to the weekend before but the car battery died and dad had to buy a new one so by the time that was fixed it was too late. So we went to see if the one mom wanted to go to was open this last weekend, and it wasnt, but we saw another cornmaze and did that one. So we Got lost alot... Luckily we had a map of the corn maze... It was an 8 acre corn maze, and it had different checkpoints so to kind of help us. It took about an hour and a half to go through it all. But is was worth it and fun!

The Arch

Mom and dad come up to St. Louis while we were living there and we all went to the Arch for the first time. Mom actually went up in it, but she was freaking out the entire time. Lol. To go to the top u get int this little round pod. It is super tiny! Once u get up there you relize the windows are actually very small that u look out, and there isnt a lot of room up there, so it was very corwded, and we went up there very long, because mom was was freaking out and wanted to go back down. so we left. It was very cool. And mom freaked out on the way down too. :)

Cardinals Game

We also went to a Cardinals game with Sandi and Jason, again for free... We didnt have as good of seats as we did at the football game, but we had a great time there. Oh and it rained like the entire game! So we were under an umbrella most of the time... Dave enjoyed buying the Baseball food... Like a hot dog, and this huge plate of nachoes that we both shared... I immediatly felt sick! Haha. But they were good. Oh and the cradinals played the prirates and beat the crap out of them. LOL.

Pre-Season Rams Game

This is Dave and I at a Rams game in St. Louis. Sandi and jason gpt free tickets from the guy they were building the Dome for there, and they invited us to go! We had great seats. We were in row 12! Its was so fun! The Rams won, probably the only game. They played the San Diego chargers. It was a good game. It was also pre-season... But still really fun and worth it.

The River Walk

This was the River Walk....
Sandi and Jason went with us. The River walk is in San Antonio, texas. While dave was working for Dome Tech, we lived in New Braunfels, Texas. This is only 30 minutes away from San Antonio. So one Day we went. We really like haning out with Sandi and Jason. We were always blessed to be sent everywhere they went. Now that we dont do that anymore. We miss hanging with them. They are great friends. Anyways... We took a boat along the river walk... It was so beautiful...
And Neat! They have theaters along it, and this huge 3 story mall on it too. It truly was Amazing.

The Alomo

This was the Alomo Dome in San Antonio, Texas.
We had a really good time. It was interesting to learn about the battle that took place here. I just love history! While we were traveling it was so cool to see our countries history. That was the only good thing about moving all the time was to see our great nations history. Although we had a great time that day... It was super hot!! It seemed to be the hottest day while we were there. I never thought Texas would have humidity!
